Shakeel Ahmed is a caring father to 32-year-old Usman who has cerebral palsy with other complex needs. Shakeel is a long-term advocate for disability rights, he advocates for housing and tenants rights in the role of the Chair of  the Thorncliffe Park Tenants’ Association; Shakeel is compassionate about community work with vulnerable population; he is a recipient of the Community Leadership Award - 2023

​Sumaiya Siddiqi is a young woman on a mission. She enjoys driving efficiency into work processes and helping others see value in innovation and change. Employed in the GIS industry, she helps many disciplines realize their full potential by exploring the location/geographical component of their data. When she’s not doing the above, she fills her time with singing, reading and discovering new food from different cultures!

Anjum Fatima is a parent of a child with ADHD, Member of the School councils at Thorncliffe park elementary school and in Mark Garneau CI; she is advocate and community leader at Thorncliffe Park, she is active in raising social issues in the community and advocating for children with disability.

Mussarat Sohail is a hard-working woman who started her thriving career in sonography later into her life. After countless hours of studying and examinations, she was able to acquire her credentials and now works at a clinic while also teaching other students looking to follow her path. She believes positivism can overcome any and all challenges and chooses to do so throughout all avenues in her life.

Director, Fundraising component

Ghotai Shirzad is a mother to Yousra who has a complex disability and is a student at park lane public School. Ghotai is a resident of Thorncliffe park and long time advocate for her daughter and always actively involved in all the events to raise awareness in the community, she is active fundraiser and a member of the Women's cycling Network.
